How does tattoo removal work?

Once you’re ready, Dr. Hermenau turns on the RevLite® SI laser from CynoSure® and uses the handheld wand to remove your tattoo. The RevLite SI laser uses Q-switched laser technology to heat and break down tattoo pigments without harming your skin. Your body then metabolizes and removes these pigments from your body as waste products.

The length of your session varies depending on the size of your tattoo. Dr. Hermenau provides after-care instructions to make sure your skin heals properly without discomfort.
